Before the visit, vacuum every floor and empty the vacuum into an outside bin, and wash pet bedding on a hot cycle. Talk to your vet about treating your pets around the time of the visit, as the crew treats the home, not the animals. Afterwards, keep vacuuming every day or two for a few weeks. The vibration brings young fleas out of their cocoons and into contact with the treated floors.
